The house is set amongst olive groves and woodland, two horses live at the property. It has panoramic views of the nearby hills and farm land as well as the valley.

The monarchs of 1600 made a stop at this house to recuperate from the long hours of walking which led them along the mountains to the Certosa of Calci.

Location

The house is situated at 100 metres above sea level, amongst ancient olive trees, it faces the plains of Pisa and enjoys views over the Piazza dei Miracoli and the sea..

Located in the middle of the peaceful Pisa mountains it is 3 KM from the small town of San Giuliano Terme which is a small tourist attraction with its thermal bath buildings dating back to 1700, and 7 KMs from Pisa town centre. For those who love the seaside the marina di Vecchiano offers a natural, well preserved stretch of coastline with its dunes and typical vegetation. Thanks to the fact that this part of the coast has been declared a nature reserve , there aren't any typical beach resort buildings or other constructions which may disturb the peacefulness and the views.

Nearby are various sports facilities and outdoor activity options such as horse riding, beautiful walks through the nearby mountains and woodland, or for those who do not suffer from dizziness of heights, tandem flights with instructors on the para-glider.

Description of the accommodation

The apartment is part of a family residence divided into two parts, each with its own parking space.

The accommodation comprises of a good size dining area, leading into a kitchen, to the right is a double bedroom with two single beds, you reach the main bedroom and bathroom up the stairs. The bathroom is fitted with a shower cubicle, washbasin, bidet and toilet. The large double-bedroom is furnished with wooden interiors. Bed linen and towels are provided.

The surrounding hills produce some excellent wines and arguably the finest olive oil anywhere, whilst the beaches and nightlife are but a small hop away
