We have just returned from a month in this fabulous apartment in the heart of historic Florence. In fact, this is the second year in a row we have rented this apartment, and we have nothing but praise for it. Beautifully and tastefully furnished, with breathtaking views from every window both during the day and particularly at night, located in a safe neighborhood within easy walking distance of everything. The apartment is well equipped with every possible amenity you could wish for in a home away from home. It is spotlessly clean. The location couldn't be better it is less than 5 minutes to the Uffizi gallery, lots of interesting shops in the immediate area, the grocery store only a few blocks away, restaurants on practically every corner, and the apartment is surprisingly quiet for being so centrally located. Even though the building does not have an elevator, we did not find the stairs to be an issue and in fact, after climbing them, felt we earned the reward of yet another glass of wine on the sunny terrace at the end of the day! The apartment is roomy and spacious and would be perfectly suited to 4 individuals, but it was wonderful to have all that space to ourselves. This apartment has everything going for it, and we will be back again next year. If you are looking at renting in Florence, treat yourself to this apartment.
