A beautiful farm house and romantic cottage built around 1850 and nestled in the Tuscan mountains with uninterrupted panoramic views. The property is within comfortable reach of Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, Florence and Siena.

This beautifully renovated villa provides luxury accommodation for up to 12 guests. The main villa has six bedrooms and bathrooms. There is also a charming self-contained cottage with accommodation for two additional people. All the rooms are decorated in a Tuscan style with terracotta floors and large exposed beams. The furniture has been chosen for comfort with many traditional pieces combined with top of the range luxury beds; 600 thread Egyptian cotton sheets and summer-weight goose down duvets. All bathrooms have creamy travertine marble floors, spacious marble or granite showers and 3 include free standing designer baths.

The villa is set in gardens of cypress trees, roses, lavender, jasmine, rosemary, sage and wisteria leading to its own olive grove. Among the 100 acres of woodlands there is a private lake and many miles of footpaths and quiet picnic sites. The property has both landscaped gardens and children's play areas, swimming pool and tennis court.

The Drawing room and Dining room are approximately 50 sq. metres in total, equally divided by a tall wide archway in traditional brick. The walls are deep cream with champagne silk curtains. The floors have terracotta tiles with a decorative border. The drawing room has two large, comfortable black and beige striped velvet sofas, some matching easy chairs, and a fitted cabinet which houses a top of the range entertainment system. The dining room has an oval wooden dining table which extends to seat 12. The dining chairs are all elegant with full backs and covered either in gold silk or black velvet. There is a traditional buffet against one wall.

The sitting room has warm yellow coloured walls with patio doors and terracotta floor.  It is comfortably furnished in traditional style with large sofas in black and terracotta velvet, and a marble coffee table. There is another multimedia entertainment system and the original open fireplace is in working order.

The kitchen is spacious, with two patio doors, one opening on to a Mulberry tree shaded patio with a massive Travertino table. The room has custom built painted wood cabinets, some with glass fronted doors and black marble worktops. The central island is constructed to allow informal eating as well as extensive storage. The sink is carved from marble and the appliances include a separate oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and an American style fridge freezer with automatic ice making facilities.

The ground floor has one bedroom with an en suite bathroom and a private terrace. There is a well-equipped modern kitchen and two separate spacious sitting rooms one with a large open fire place. The dining room seats 12 at oval wooden table. There are flat screen TVs, surround sound, a multi-region DVD player and CD player with a connection for an ipod. A Wii is also provided.

The second floor has four bedrooms, two with showers and two with large baths and separate showers. The third floor has a bedroom with its own terrace with breath-taking views, and a private bathroom on the floor below.

The romantic cottage is ideal for couples and has a magnificent vista from its own terrace overlooking the swimming pool.

Around the villa there are many separate terraces for dining and entertaining including a Mulberry shaded garden.

A gorgeous swimming pool and outdoor area allows for complete relaxation and enjoyment in the sun. The poolside kitchen is equipped to prepare lunch/snacks for a large group.  Lay back in the pool with a cool refreshing cocktail or lounge poolside under the umbrellas with a glass of wine. Underneath the pergola is a superb setting for either a romantic meal or an enjoyable gathering for the whole family. There is a spacious indoor shower, toilet and changing area with ample storage facilities.

Villa Rental is for up to 12 persons only. Extra persons up to 16 maximum will be billed as extra.
