The setting for the property is  in the Lucca hills surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, still close to Lucca town centre.

Originally the property was part of an old convent of Cappucini monks and is attached to an old sixteenth century villa, which, in the old days, was donated to the monks.

Fully restored by the present owners the property has had great care and attention to maintain the original part of the building, restoring old frescoes, and beam ceilings, but introducing modern requirements.

The enchanting garden has been brought back to its original Italian design. In the property there is also a "limonaia", (lemon house) fully restored, nowly equipped for banquests, conferences and meetings. (surface smq 100)
