We stayed at this property in June. We were a group of 7 consisting of 2 familes. The building itself is truly majestic and more than enough room for all of us. The terrace area is fantastic for enjoying balmy nights and al fresco dining. Lucca is only a 5 minute drive away and there are a stunning views from the house across the rolling hills. There are a number of villages around where you can experience a local sagra, which is thoroughly recommended. Touring of Tuscany is easily accesible from the property and it acts as a good base in which to tour from whilst also providing a quiet setting to return to.

We stayed in Villa La Torre which really is a beautiful place with frescos painted on the ceilings and walls - extremely spacious too! The verandah was a favourite for me and my teenage daughters as there were very comfortable sunloungers and excellent views! Top Tip though is to make sure you are given a very good map to find the place - we weren't and it took us about three hours to find it! It was well worth it once we got there though! Would definitely consider returning. (We give guests coordinates and detailed maps - Tuscany Fine Rentals)

This was a fantastic time at Villa Torre near Lucca. We have been there in the 2nd and 3rd week of June with a group of 8 adults and 2 kids. The area is gorgeous and the Villa fulfilled all our expectations. We have had great meals on the terrace looking towards Lucca and during rainy days we have enjoyed the tower with a great view onto the region. The grand thing is the nice garden which is well kept and very nice interior of the villa.
