History

A memorial tablet on the side of the villa recalls the famous and accomplished italian composer  Alfredo Catalani and his stay at Villa del Secco in Lucca, he spent his early years at the villa during which  he gained his inspiration that led him to become one of the most remarkable Italian composers.
