The house is situated in the forest hills between Pisa and
Lucca, with a driving distance of 20 mins to Pisa airport and
15 mins to Lucca town via the "Statale del Brennero".
Offering walking paths of outstanding beauty for those who love
spending time amidst nature. Totally secluded for that
peaceful holiday.
Friends of the seaside will also enjoy the splendid Parco di
Migliarino with the natural beach at the Marina di Vecchiano,
about 25 mins away.

The House area comprises 120 square metres
From the house you can walk along narrow mountain roads and
alpine paths on the Lucca side of the hills, and also along
the slopes of the Pisa mountains.
Paths and roads are signposted and numbered by the Italian alpine
touring club and detailed maps are available for purchase in
the areas.
The vegetation is varied and between the olive groves, macchia
mediterranea, pinewoods and chestnut woods there are many
paths suitable for both walking and cycling. Bicycles/
mountain bikes are available for hire on request.
The area is furthermore full of places of historic and cultural
interest. Particularly worth mentioning are the stately homes
and villas, which can be found along the road which takes you
from San Giuliano Terme to Lucca
San Giuliano Terme
San Giuliano Terme is known for the goodness of its
sulphate, calcium and magnesium-rich thermal waters which
descend from the mountains at a temperature of 38c and were first
discovered by the Etruscans and thereafter by the Romans.
The thermal baths have been beautifully restored and can be
visited as well as the integrated health and beauty centre.
The spa town itself is also attractive with many green areas, many
shops and good restaurants. During the summer period the town
becomes especially lively with its typical summer festivals and
tasting of local handmade products such as honey, olive oil, wine,
cold cured meats, cheeses etc….
