An old charming 19th Century three storey villa with original frescos and terracotta floors, open and spacious ideal for peaceful summer vacations. Set amongst vineyards and Olive fields. Entrance is via large iron automatic gates, plenty of space to roam and for children to play.

Totally enclosed with a wall surrounding the property grounds. Fabulous history and original internal features. Not isolated but well secluded.

Habitable and available for the Middle floor only. Outdoor dining facilities, ample car parking, electric gates to the front, large trees and lawn to the front and rear. 6 Kilometres from the centre of Lucca spectacular views surrounding the property. Access to the villa is via a country road which is full of olive-groves and vineyards.

History

A memorial tablet on the side of the villa recalls the famous and accomplished italian composer Alfredo Catalani and his stay at Villa del Secco, he spent his early years at the villa during which he gained his inspiration that led him to become one of the most remarkable Italian composers.
