Stone-built house in Lucca hills
A lovely stone-built house located in a tranquil position in the hills of Lucca.
It's an ideal base from which to combine culture with comfortable accommodation amid calm, scenic surroundings.
The area, is one of the most beautiful in the Lucca countryside. Despite its quiet location, the property is also just 15 minutes by car from the centre of Lucca.
The house and the garden are surrounded by trees, there are wonderful views over the countryside, you can see the Apian Alps right down to the plain of Lucca.
Description of the accommodation
The house has been recently restored and very tastefully furnished. During the renovation authentic Tuscan materials were used such as antique cotto floors and beamed ceilings, the furnished areas are very attractive and rustic yet elegant and stylish.
To the front of the house there is an outside eating area. The house is part of a country estate and is not on it's own.
The village of Pieve di Compito is in the 'Compitese' - an area famous for its produce, particularly its olive oil.
The terrain is relatively flat and wooded, flanked by picturesque mountains and crossed by streams, making it ideal for walking and biking.
